Journal
Winter Earth Scientist now available
Our Winter issue includes 5 articles that present educational resources related to the science of the Earth's poles as well as the International Polar Year. These include the first-ever, high-resolution Landsat Image Mosaic of Antarctica, polar explorations from Windows to the Universe, circumpolar permafrost monitoring, the Ship Creek ice mystery (which explores scientific inquiry), and information about ice sheet, glaciers, and an ice-core based classroom activity. NESTA gratefully acknowledges the support of the NASA IPY Education program which has allowed an extended print run of this issue, to allow more widespread distribution.
