NESTA is working hard to expand its services to its membership, as described in our strategic plan. We are working towards these initiatives, while also trying to keep our membership fees low to facilitate membership engagement in our professional association.

Your generosity, in the form of a donation to NESTA, will help to build the funding base for these initiatives. Your donation could help provide: support for our journal, "The Earth Scientist", development of a fund to support travel of members to national and regional education conferences (which will be offered though a need-based application process when sufficient funds are available), support for fledgling state-based Earth Science teacher associations (ESTA's) to adopt the new website toolkit that we will be making available in October 2008, and support for NESTA social events at NSTA conferences.
