Join NESTA and become part of the only professional association dedicated to the improvement of Earth science education at the K-12 levels. NESTA is an organization made up of and governed by classroom teachers. NESTA extends its influence through its association with other professional associations.

We accomplish this through:

  • Our quarterly journal, The Earth Scientist;
  • Our annotated slide sets for classroom use;
  • Our sessions at NSTA annual and regional meetings;
  • Our participation in other professional society programs;
  • Increasing the participation of you, our nation's Earth science teachers;
  • Periodic mailings of interest to Earth science teachers;
  • A voice in the future of Earth science education;
  • Special sessions at professional meeting;
  • Recognition as member of a professional association.
