Webcast Invitation: 2010 Teacher Research Experience Conference

The NOAA Teacher at Sea program, in collaboration with NOAA Education, is the lead in organizing a multi-agency conference focused on teacher research experience programs: NSF, Dept of Energy, Department of Ed., NIH, Univ. of Rhode Island, and Columbia University are partners. This is a national conference that will have 150 teachers, scientists, engineers, and program managers present who are part of teacher research experience programs, like NOAA’s Teacher at Sea program, to address three goals: identify operational and evaluation best practices, establish connections and partnerships between programs, and collaborate to meet individual project challenges.

The main conference themes are Evaluation, Sustainability, and STEM Transfer and the conference threads are Diversity and Communication.
